I honestly didn't anticipate someone like Mas Ryan, who did Malam Minggu Miko, being capable of creating something this impressive! It’s truly amazing. The animation quality is exceptionally high—it almost reaches a Disney standard. The narrative is also well-constructed; it avoids being overly simplistic and still manages to incorporate valuable lessons and morals that resonate with both children and adults. The music is lovely as well, particularly the song “Selalu Ada di Nadimu.” It really gets to me emotionally. Naturally, there are shortcomings. Some of the voice actors' delivery doesn’t quite match up with the characters’ lip movements, certain plot developments feel rushed, and the antagonist’s backstory seems underdeveloped. However, from my perspective, these issues are easily overlooked—because I’m still astonished that we were able to produce an animated film this exceptional, on such a grand scale, given the current condition of our movie industry. Considering Indonesia's filmmaking landscape today, it's remarkably well-crafted. I am genuinely touched; I still can’t quite believe it. This picture will be remembered as one of the significant achievements in Indonesian movies, pushing boundaries and moving away from the familiar genres we often depend on. It would be wonderful if we could continue to develop even more impressive animated features going forward.
