It wasn’t really bad, even though some of the editing and directorial decisions, particularly at the end, seemed off. I thought Josh Brolin was good in the main role, despite the fact that his makeup choices weren't always ideal. The action sequences and special effects were pretty solid, and John Malkovich, as expected, played a convincingly nasty villain. Megan Fox… well, Megan Fox looked fine. It would have been better if it had explored the stranger aspects of the story more fully; we only get glimpses of that. I'm not sure, but while it’s not a good film, it isn’t one of the worst comic book movies out there. 3.0/5
