The narrative follows Joji’s pursuit of independence from the authority held by his family. He consistently prioritizes a lifestyle centered on liberation. Throughout the story, he seeks to break free from constraints. Joji achieves his goal by eliminating both his father and the heir apparent, thereby gaining what he desired. However, he ultimately chooses death after finding himself trapped within a system of law enforcement and imprisonment, which leaves him disheartened and unsettled. A bullet wound to a vulnerable area of his head failed to end his existence, leaving him in a persistent vegetative state, still yearning for freedom from the burdens of his life.
