The title wasn't very appealing as a sequel. The initial movie was surprisingly good, but I anticipated this one, though not with quite as much enthusiasm as I had for 'Jack Reacher 2'. That film was enjoyable, although it didn’t live up to the standard of its predecessor. And this sequel is truly remarkable—one of the best continuations I've seen, and superior to the original. Achieving that is a rare occurrence in movies, and this one does just that. It feels entirely different from the first film; I mean the plot. There’s fresh action, a new adventure, and it all unfolds on an even grander scale. The beginning was somewhat unremarkable, and I really didn't care for that killing task Mr. Wick took on, but what followed elevated the movie to greatness—something not to be missed, especially if you're a big fan of action films. It brought 'Kill Bill' to mind, though they aren’t the same kind of film aside from the fighting concept involving many people. The story picks up where the last one left off. Now the retired assassin, John Wick, is compelled to take on one final assignment, only to discover he’s been betrayed. With everyone in town focused on him and guns aimed his way, escaping won't be easy. He has to fight them all just to stay alive. What follows is an even more intense script that leaves the door open for a third film. This has evolved into a stylish series. That's what happens when a stuntman directs an action movie. He didn’t write it, but he clearly understood how to create one, technically flawless. Plus, he had a wonderful and committed cast to help him achieve that—not just Reeves, but everyone was fantastic. I think the third film will be amazing, particularly if it can maintain the speed of something like 'Crank'. Just see it already and get ready for what’s next, the ultimate conclusion. _8/10_
