It’s hard to piece together exactly how this movie was, because my recollections are a bit foggy. I clearly recall renting it from our town's independent video store, the one that used to sell adult films (though not for a while) and then had a section in the back room dedicated to Betamax tapes and LaserDiscs before they relocated to a larger space. I have a vivid memory of riding my bike there with my dad when I was ten years old. I recall noticing the poster displayed in one of the two small windows, along with other new releases on the shelves. And I remember renting this film on VHS alongside a Beta Danger Mouse recording. Afterward, I thought it was a serious movie because of how it began. But then I found myself laughing at the luggage and also during the volcano sequence near the end—and that's pretty much all I recall. Still, what’s important is that I remember finding it funny.
