The fifth _Saw_ film marked the lowest point in the franchise, and Jigsaw’s presence felt like just another iteration of _Saw V_, only less appealing. It's hard to call that praise. However, I went into the finale expecting disappointment, and surprisingly, it delivered a somewhat acceptable conclusion; at least, it left me thinking, "Not great, but exceeding my low expectations" as the movie ended. Final rating: ★★ - There were elements I appreciated, yet the overall result was disappointing.
