A worthwhile film that I’d happily watch again and suggest to others. The concept feels similar to "Her," except with Scarlett Johansson voicing an A.I. who's unstable, envious, and intended to elicit laughter as Adam Devine experiences bad luck. It's fundamentally a darkly comedic narrative centered on a man struggling socially, so the film shifts quickly between uncomfortable humor that seems unrealistic and overly harsh treatment, alongside instances of character development. Although the plot involving a man encountering a woman and conquering personal challenges is acceptable, it isn’t the central element or particularly engaging enough to carry the movie. The strength of this film lies in portraying Jexi as an actual character—a chaotic A.I. who controls everything within her reach. Many scenes feel disconnected, as if they could have appeared at any point; they resemble short comedic bits rather than integral parts of a larger story, though they are genuinely funny enough that you might not even notice the disjointedness. It’s an uncomfortable film to watch, but it possesses many positive qualities and is surprisingly insightful.
