“Tom” has acquired an apparently endless quantity of dynamite, prompting “Jerry” to seek refuge in his house and call upon his serious cousin, "Muscles." This relative is exceptionally effective at handling troublesome cats, quickly establishing dominance over “Tom.” Responding to this setback, he decides to gather reinforcements—or perhaps they should be called allies—but how likely are they to overcome such a powerful, bowler-hatted adversary? I typically enjoy Tom and Jerry cartoons, but this one didn’t appeal to me as much. The story felt unbalanced; usually, even when “Jerry” ultimately prevails, there's some back-and-forth. This time, I actually started feeling bad for the cat. It moves along at a rapid pace, filled with explosions and destruction that will certainly give the insurance adjuster a headache, but it’s not among my favorites.
