I saw it back in September of 2019, and thought it was truly remarkable. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. For those who enjoy adventure films, "Jeremiah Johnson" comes with my highest recommendation—don't even pause before watching it. Sydney Pollack demonstrates his skill as a director here. You’ll get a sense of how difficult mountain life can be, particularly during the cold season, and especially considering the time period of the 18th and 19th centuries. Robert Redford delivers a wonderful performance, and this film is definitely worth your time. I consider it to be excellent.
