I understand why I moved my reviews from IMDb to a site like this—it’s just another example of how difficult it is to share negative opinions there; the moderators seemed determined to shield this film from any criticism. The story centers on a young woman who forms an 1980s-style glam rock group, and that's essentially the whole plot. It has absolutely no connection to Jem and the Holograms—none at all. The original cartoon was fantastic, and they stripped away everything great about it in favor of something bland.
