I had believed the initial movies formed a set of three, but when the potential for profit arose, filmmakers decided to continue with a fourth installment that took things in an entirely different direction. Now this film brings it back toward the original narrative, revisiting Jason Bourne’s search for answers—a quest I thought was already complete. It seems like another trilogy might be planned, similar to what happened with 'Star Wars', featuring fresh storylines and adventures. The central idea hasn't changed; it still revolves around pursuit and escape. Consequently, the plot feels rather simple, boiled down to a basic concept. However, if you enjoy action, there’s plenty here to keep you engaged. That probably should be your primary reason for seeing it, because otherwise the movie is just average. Matt Damon's return as the lead character is definitely a highlight, especially considering the involvement of the director of 'Supremecy' and 'Ultimatum'. I feel like Alicia Vikander’s character hasn’t been fully developed yet, and that might be explored further in the next couple of films. It appears there could be an intriguing pairing between her and Matt, so I am anticipating some official announcements. The predictable nature of the film is somewhat disappointing, though it's not a terrible movie. That’s just the kind of series Bourne has become, after all. If you follow this franchise, then you should check it out because there will likely be at least two more movies coming up, if I am correct. _6/10_
