I don’t want to cause a stir, but Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Jenna Coleman together would make something truly lovely! Though, that offspring might not have the best taste because this film isn’t exactly anyone’s greatest achievement. Jackson-Cohen plays the central character. He's a former moto-cross champion carrying some past issues, now doing odd jobs like retrieving packages from wind turbines in the North Sea for his eccentric dealer friend "Silas" (Joe Blakemore). But something went wrong with this latest job. There’s no money waiting when he arrives at the drop-off location, and then a man on horseback shoots at him! Fortunately, his old motorcycle is surprisingly powerful, allowing him to get away before he runs out of gas, then knocks out a police officer who tries to arrest him, and finally has to call in some favours to locate his brother "Simon," who appears to have been taken as payback for not delivering the shipment. Are you following? “Jack Dawson” – yes, there are a few references to “Titanic” – now needs to figure out who took his sibling, and along the way we meet some rough characters from the North East of England before reaching a rather disappointing ending. Coleman has a brief, unremarkable appearance, as does Thomas Turgoose, who is quite good as "Craig," initially seeming timid but proving surprisingly tough. However, the writing feels generic, the plot is somewhat flimsy and underdeveloped, and the action sequences are too obviously artificial – particularly the police raid at the rave – to have any real impact. It’s acceptable enough to watch, and it does move along quickly, but it could easily be mistaken for an episode of "The Professionals," and I don't expect to remember it for very long.
