I liked the initial Jack Reacher movie; I hadn’t formed any strong feelings about the character from the books, so I didn't mind what they did with him, even if it seemed like a misrepresentation to some. However, this follow-up, based on another of Lee Child’s popular novels, is hampered by a title that might end up being its undoing. Reacher returns, embarking on a quest similar to the one in the previous film: he's trying to prove someone's innocence and spends a lot of time evading those who want to see him captured and removed from their plans.
