It’s a film I don’t anticipate revisiting, and I can’t really suggest it to anyone. I recently viewed "Save Yourselves" expecting something similar in quality, but then realized I had already seen this one previously. I appreciate Julia Stiles and America Ferrera's performances, and the supporting actors are decent too; however, the film focuses so intensely on difficult themes, presenting trivial problems within relationships and friendships alongside the tediousness of being confined indoors, while largely sidelining any sense of urgency from the looming danger that could have made it worthwhile. The elements needed to make it work are present, but they’re significantly downplayed. Consequently, the characters' emotional distress and how things eventually turn out feel odd.
