The movie seemed inspired by a true story about an Italian rally racer, though I didn’t recognize any of the performers or the director. Despite that, I found it quite enjoyable; at two hours, it was still worth watching. I went in expecting something different than what I received. The title suggests a straightforward racing film, but it turned out to be more balanced between sports and family drama. It highlighted the bond between the siblings, along with some fun moments. Overall, I thought it was pretty good, though whether you’ll enjoy it really depends on your personal preferences. It centers around a teenage race car driver whose father died while she was competing. Following this tragedy, her life began to unravel. She's raising her younger brother, but their mother left them long ago. Facing an uncertain future and the potential loss of their home if she doesn’t win an upcoming race, things take another turn when their estranged older brother returns. He’s struggling with addiction and needs a place to stay, disrupting their lives. Despite his issues, she recognizes his abilities and offers him a job. The story then follows this makeshift family as they navigate both personal and professional challenges together. Some of the character development felt somewhat predictable; from his introduction onward, it seemed clear where the plot was headed. However, there were some unexpected developments in the middle that added depth to his character and the overall narrative, showing how he changes throughout the film. While initially appearing as a supporting player, his influence gradually increased, culminating in a surprising turn of events at the end—something I definitely didn’t foresee. > "I take a curve at 200 mph and you are worried if I have sex?" I was hoping for some impressive stunts from the young racer, but it quickly became clear this wasn't a film like *Fast & Furious*. The racing sequences were present, but they served different purposes in various segments, focusing more on life events than high-octane action. It felt like a constant struggle between achieving success in a sport and avoiding legal trouble, considering both are minors. As mentioned before, the older brother’s role was clearly designed to influence them during these situations. Don't expect a film packed with impossible stunts or extreme racing; the races were simply part of the story, presented from different angles at various points. The characters were very interesting—three siblings representing three generations—and their connection was a definite highlight. The actors gave excellent performances, particularly the young female lead and her older brother who takes on a more prominent role later in the film. His final race transformed the movie into something quite different, almost resembling *Fast & Furious*. If they were to make a sequel, I think it would be wise to focus on that style of plot to broaden its appeal and marketability internationally. However, my concern is that this shift might overshadow the original family-focused storyline. The film was engaging enough to hold my attention, but if you’ve seen many Hollywood movies with similar themes, you might find the racing elements disappointing—with the possible exception of the final race. This is a drama blended with sports rather than an action thriller or crime-sports movie; the dramatic aspects ultimately dominate. There are no police or villains involved, and their presence isn't excessive. I don’t think they spent a huge amount on production, but the quality was still very good. Regardless of what others may think, I consider it to be simply a good film—worth watching once. I wouldn’t say I loved it, but I can certainly recommend it, and I hope you make a good choice about whether or not to watch it. _7/10_
