It’s not exactly a culinary masterpiece. Doris Day portrays a savvy businesswoman involved in large-scale lobster production. When a recent shipment is mishandled because of problems with the E&P Railroad, she resolves to confront them directly. Simultaneously, romantic entanglements attempt to surface. There's nothing inherently flawed about this movie; it’s an agreeable and gentle romantic comedy featuring performers you’ll enjoy spending time with, including Jack Lemmon and Ernie Kovacs. However, the narrative itself lacks substantial appeal, and the romantic storyline feels secondary to a series of extended scenes that don’t quite succeed. What could have been a powerful statement about women's empowerment doesn't fully resonate. It earns a 6/10.
