There’s something peculiar about how an expansive landscape can evoke a sense of confinement, and this film manages to do just that. The performances are strong, and although the storyline mainly exists to develop the characters, and you don't discover many details concerning the environment itself, that seems deliberate. Clear endings aren’t necessarily needed in narratives like these. It’s not a poor movie; however, it isn’t something I’d choose to watch again.
