This martial arts action-thriller doesn’t work, largely because Britton K. Lee lacks any real screen presence. Even setting aside his performance, the fight sequences themselves feel dull and uninspired. The technical aspects are also seriously flawed; the editing and automated dialogue replacement were particularly rough. I did find a small amount of amusement in the intentionally cheesy opening theme song—it felt like something straight out of the 1980s—and there were a few unintentionally humorous scenes sprinkled throughout, but these weren’t sufficient to make it worthwhile watching all the way through. **1.5/5**
