Iron Man’s impact extended beyond simply starting the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It successfully blended the extraordinary elements of superheroes and their adversaries into a believable world, acknowledging the repercussions of such power. The film also highlighted Jon Favreau's directing talent and provided a significant career resurgence for Robert Downey Jr. Despite all this, Iron Man remains an excellent movie, considered among the strongest entries in the MCU. It’s genuinely enjoyable to watch, but it also demonstrates considerable depth, examining the moral conflict of someone benefiting from warfare while confronting the truth that they are involved in a fundamentally corrupt system.
