What an absolute treat! I’m really happy I finally got around to watching *Interstellar*; it took me way too long, but it was definitely worth the wait – a truly sensational film! The clearest indication of that is how quickly the nearly 2 hours and 30-minute runtime flies by... *[insert joke about feeling like you're on board Endurance here]* I can’t really add anything new to what countless others have already said in glowing terms about this 2014 movie, so I can only confirm that I share their enthusiasm. As you would anticipate from Christopher Nolan and his team, it's exceptionally well-crafted, the sound is fantastic, and the visuals are breathtakingly beautiful. Matthew McConaughey gives a remarkable performance as the main character, particularly succeeding in all of the scenes packed with emotion – not that I’m overly invested in those kinds of things myself, but I’m surprised he didn't receive more recognition for it; he deserved it! Besides him, Jessica Chastain, Mackenzie Foy, and Anne Hathaway also deliver very strong performances. I do have one minor reservation, though. I wasn't as keen on the sections at the end involving the dimensional tesseract; they’re still great to watch, but there’s a slight dip in quality compared to everything that comes before it, which really just highlights how exceptional everything else is. I had a similar reaction to (the equally impressive) *Everything Everywhere All at Once*, for instance. Basically, it's just a small detail, honestly. Overall, phenomenal!
