I'm not going to offer another detailed analysis of this film, given the number already available, nor will I attempt to judge how scientifically correct the storyline is. A physicist was consulted during its creation and had authority to ensure the script remained within the boundaries of what’s at least theoretically plausible. However, I’ve never let minor errors detract from my enjoyment of science fiction films, provided they are engaging and don't treat me like an idiot. With Monsters, for instance, I read that the aliens resembling octopuses couldn’t have stood on their hind legs; I accepted that, because it’s meant to be entertainment, not a factual account. Despite its considerable length and complex visual effects, the film's focus on human relationships kept me engaged with Interstellar, and that narrative is what made me appreciate it. I’ve always been fond of well-made time travel films, and concepts related to space and time are also explored in this one. While I consider it entertainment rather than a documentary, it isn't something you can watch casually. To really experience the film, give it your undivided focus; it’s not like Mars Attacks, which you could easily enjoy while doing other things and still follow along.
