Interceptor might not be cinematic perfection, but it’s an inexpensive action film designed for streaming. It’s certainly flawed, yet it manages to deliver some enjoyable moments reminiscent of 1980s action flicks. It seems unfair to criticize Interceptor too harshly; it delivers exactly what's anticipated from a Netflix movie intended for online viewing. I’ve encountered far less appealing productions. Elsa Pataky gave a dedicated performance and visibly trained for the physical demands of her role. The narrative follows a familiar formula—similar to Under Siege or any film featuring "The Rock"—where antagonists seize control, and a single individual rises to defend against them. While this plot has been explored countless times, there's an undeniable appeal to it. Interceptor won’t linger in your memory for long, but if you appreciate action movies, it’s worth watching.
