The basic idea behind the movie could have been promising. If they’d put in some work with research, writing, and decent performances alongside competent directing, it might have turned out to be an enjoyable action film. Sadly, that didn't happen. It seems like nobody took the time to ensure even the most basic details—the setting, technology, military jargon, or emblems—were reasonably accurate. The special effects are on par with what you’d expect from kids making videos online, and the plot feels worn out and unoriginal. On top of that, as others have pointed out, there's an excessive amount of socially conscious messaging; I was initially willing to accept certain story elements, but it’s so clumsily inserted that it becomes difficult to tolerate. And I won’t even discuss the performances. As viewers, we enter into a kind of agreement with filmmakers. We willingly suspend our disbelief and overlook some unrealistic aspects, in exchange for them putting forth some effort to meet us halfway. That isn't what happened here; it feels like they didn’t care at all. It’s disrespectful how little consideration they gave to the audience. Action movie leads don't necessarily need to be great actors—though it certainly helps and can lead to genuine success. But a minimum level of effort, comparable to something you’d see in *The Expendables*, is really the least we could hope for. There's still room for straightforward action movies about saving the world, I believe. However, things like this are just a terrible use of people’s time. I give it a 2 out of 10; that one point is to encourage the director—just because your first attempt falls short doesn't mean you should abandon your career. Please try again! Everyone else: please don't make anything like this, even as a favor for a family member.
