It’s a belated follow-up that sat around for a while before someone else stepped in and produced what is fundamentally an adequate, though unremarkable, film. The performances were average; Aml Ameen appeared to be trying to recreate the confident persona Washington embodied in the initial installment. I will acknowledge that it does attempt to connect with the first one, thankfully avoiding being just another sequel merely using the title. **2.75/5**
