I wasn't familiar with this film at all; I stumbled upon it through Amazon Prime after watching Source Code. The premise is fairly captivating, involving just one man, a woman, two gunmen, a robot maintaining his life support, and another robot analyzing his thoughts. It starts with the man waking up, and initially, we’re completely unaware of his location or how he arrived there. The narrative shifts repeatedly between his confinement area and scenes from his memories, which intentionally creates a sense of disorientation and bewilderment. Even though it was made on a limited budget—and they even had to repurpose costumes from Pandorum—Travis Milloy seems to have maximized every available asset. He constructed the set himself, and it genuinely resembles a futuristic prison cell. Christopher Soren Kelly delivers a solid performance, primarily interacting with a security camera while moving between the prison setting and his memories.
