I had higher hopes for *'Immaculate,'* but it’s reasonably entertaining, I suppose. The film is visually appealing, and Sydney Sweeney delivers a performance in line with what you’d anticipate; the supporting actors are all adequate, with Álvaro Morte being particularly noteworthy. The movie moves along quickly, and I felt like there wasn't really a central section—just an extended lead-up to the final moments. The concluding scene elicited a chuckle from me, which wasn't quite the intended reaction; Cecilia’s screams immediately reminded me of that "best cry ever" meme*, and I couldn't stop smiling, much to my regret. *I wasn’t aware of the story behind that clip until looking it up just now; it isn’t quite as funny anymore. That's a bit embarrassing. Overall, I would cautiously recommend seeing this film. I almost experienced it alone in an empty movie theater, but then a pair of people unexpectedly showed up about 30 to 45 minutes into the 90-minute runtime! That must have been frustrating for them.
