The movie had me laughing out loud, reminiscent of Mel Brooks and the Zuker brothers' style of comedy. The humor is intentionally exaggerated and silly—and that’s precisely what makes it so enjoyable. It parodies blaxploitation films from the seventies, and surprisingly, even with its ridiculousness, it pays close attention to the genre, accurately incorporating all of its familiar elements. However, understanding any of that isn't necessary for enjoyment. The important thing is that this film is cleverly silly, genuinely funny, and a pleasure to experience. It’s among the best comedies ever made, and above all else, it will keep you amused.
