The production values were a real letdown. Choosing to add muzzle flashes later instead of filming them practically, along with things like Styrofoam ice and mismatched backdrops, really drags down the overall feel; it makes everything else seem less impressive as a result. Even the simulated methane fires come across as low-budget. While the acting isn't bad, the pacing is reasonable, and the direction is adequate, nothing elevates it beyond being merely acceptable, which contributes to how easily this film slips from memory. I wish I hadn’t invested the time watching it.
