I went into *Ice Cream Man* expecting a silly, lowbrow movie, and it did have some elements of that. However, the film ultimately felt like just one joke being beaten to death. Eli Roth’s tendency toward cruelty was evident, making it disturbing to witness young children participating in violent scenes, along with a tasteless gag concerning a preteen girl's eating disorder. Also, generative AI is awful!
