The film *I Remember You* didn't manage to fully engage me. It’s a reasonably pleasant story, but I didn’t enjoy watching it play out. It wasn’t terrible, certainly. The scenes involving Freyr and Dagný were the only ones that held my attention; they carried what little interest I had. Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson and Sara Dögg Ásgeirsdóttir deserve recognition for this 2017 film, particularly Jóhannesson. On the other hand, I struggled to find the segments featuring Garðar, Katrín, and Líf compelling; they weren’t bad, and the actors are acceptable enough. It came close to being genuinely good. But it falls short of that mark.
