It’s startling how long it took for anyone to recognize her desperate plea, before she acted out of vengeance! The current method employed by extremists involves driving a vehicle into groups of people. Ever since the rise of cars, these occurrences have typically been labeled as accidents. However, some incidents were deliberate, and this was one of them. As far as I can tell, it might be the earliest instance of its kind documented, going back to 1973. Olga Hepnarova’s early twenties had already brought a difficult life. Having faced bullying and family problems, she largely existed as an isolated figure. Her romantic relationships also created challenges in fitting in, though she did have a stable job. Then, without warning, her darker impulses surfaced. As I mentioned, the film centers on what is essentially just another crime. But current events have brought it into the public eye. Otherwise, I doubt they would have made this movie; it wouldn't have generated much international interest. Now, everyone will know about Olga. The actress who portrayed her was quite good as well. The film’s black and white cinematography effectively captures a 1970s aesthetic. It felt somewhat slow-moving, though. The script wasn't particularly captivating; it included numerous scenes that resemble those found in art films. I feel they should have focused more on the bullying and other difficulties Olga faced, especially the physical aspects of her struggles. What I witnessed seemed to emphasize the outcome of the story rather than the events leading up to it. This film isn’t for everyone, largely because its uninspired presentation might discourage some viewers. It's not a terrible film to overlook, though. _5/10_
