This film generally left me feeling pretty good. It centers on a twenty-nine year old man, Thomas Gaudin, who boards a Paris métro and tells everyone he's searching for love. He has stable employment, is presentable in appearance, and tired of spending his evenings watching television (or eating microwave meals!). Now he wants to find something genuine with a woman aged eighteen to fifty-five. Despite being warned by another passenger—a married man named Pascal Casanova—to be cautious about what he desires, he’s optimistic that perhaps one person will share his idea of real happiness. If they do, they should disembark at the following stop. Does anyone take that chance? Will he? He even reveals his salary during this rather enjoyable and revealing moment, which makes you question whether such a thing could actually happen. Is it possible someone would really go through with this?
