"I Came By" contains a memorable and unsettling portrayal by Hugh Bonneville, alongside a script that delves into class differences. The central concept of wealth versus poverty unfolds through engaging exchanges; however, the story itself follows a very familiar path, which lessens any sense of suspense or intrigue. The shifts in time feel disorienting rather than helpful, and frequent, jarring edits during moments of tension prove irritating. The promotional material is also quite deceptive, as George McKay appears for far less time than one might expect. While it may not satisfy those familiar with the genre, the film remains reasonably engaging to watch. Rating: C+
