Hurry Up Tomorrow stands out as among the most confusing and disappointing films of the year. The movie serves as a clear illustration of how aesthetics can overwhelm meaningful content, and how an artist’s unchecked ambition can transform what could have been interesting into something empty and self-centered. Even with some appealing visuals and committed acting from those involved, Trey Edward Shults and Abel Tesfaye fail to deliver in key areas like the story's progression, its organization, emotional impact, and overall reason for being. The result is a hazy and unclear viewing experience that leaves audiences feeling lost and disconnected—a regrettable situation for everyone who worked on it. Rating: D
