This isn't the kind of action movie Jason Statham usually makes, which made it disappointing given my expectations. It’s likely the most downbeat and deliberately paced Statham film I've encountered. That doesn't automatically make it bad, but it wasn't what I was in the mood for when choosing a Statham vehicle. A large portion of the runtime involves him talking with a nun questioning her faith and moral standing, while he contemplates his own capacity for redemption after past actions. There’s very little action or combat to be found; instead, expect scenes of drinking and general unhappiness. If you're seeking a standard Statham action film, I suggest looking elsewhere.
