Criticism regarding the performances has been voiced, and honestly, that's understandable. However, did viewers expect something different given what they were told? It’s a movie that openly presents itself as a low-budget comedy—a deliberately silly one, just like you'd anticipate from that kind of production. The acting fluctuates; at times it’s decent, and other times not so much. Nevertheless, the storyline is nonsensical and absurd enough to be genuinely funny. It also delivers on the satisfying resolution commonly found in comedies of this nature. Essentially, the film provides precisely what it advertises, with no attempts to disguise its intentions, allowing for a period of laughter... which, ultimately, seems to have been the filmmakers' goal: to elicit amusement from the audience through outlandish situations.
