A group of friends has become skilled at burglarizing grand estates while the owners are away at events like galas or performances, and they’re eager to target "Redwick Hall." However, their plan backfires when they discover it's all a setup. After being shocked with tasers, they find themselves in a field confronted by the manor’s owner (Samantha Bond), who is fed up with people attempting to take advantage of her. She releases them and instructs them to leave. But before they can go far, they hear dogs barking—a lot of barking. It turns out this isn't a fox hunt; these are prohibited. Instead, it’s a hunt for humans, and the burglars need to run. Unfortunately, things don’t improve as they try to escape their dangerous situation. Initially, I assumed it would be funny. Samantha Bond clearly has a playful attitude, and seeing James Faulkner and Nick Moran in the cast led me to expect some humor soon. There wasn't any; instead, I was the one being made fun of, because this poorly-made film stole ninety minutes from my life and left me questioning why anyone believed it could be successful. Malachi Pullar-Latchman and Hannah Traylen are central to the thieves’ scheme but don’t leave much of an impression as the story consistently fails to engage. If there's a hidden commentary about privilege or people taking what isn't theirs, I missed it because the movie just devolved from absurd to more absurd. I suggest you avoid watching it.
