The production of _Hotel Transylvania: Transformania_ faced several challenges, and watching the movie helps explain why. It’s a disappointing end to the series that largely feels like an uninspired effort to revisit what made the earlier installments successful. The story centers on an interesting idea that isn't developed as well as it could be. Ultimately, it sacrifices established character elements in favor of predictable jokes and overused comedic moments.
