This horror film features Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and even Telly Savalas – recognizable as Kojak – in a story about a creature discovered in China that causes problems on the train transporting it to Europe. The narrative itself is genuinely strong; however, the poor condition of the print made watching it more of an effort than a pleasure. Despite this, the film maintains a brisk pace and builds towards a fairly thrilling climax. Of course, the musical score and dubbed dialogue aren't perfect, and some of the outdoor sets appear somewhat flimsy, but these issues weren’t major distractions. It’s worth checking out.
