The performances are decent, but.... Pacing, seriously! There's potential for a disturbing film, or even something exploitative, and the acting is fine, however it crawls along at such a snail’s pace that you lose interest before anything significant occurs; before the narrative actually gains momentum. They really needed to introduce some kind of incident relatively early on—within the first ten pages of the script—to grab viewers' attention, and ideally something relevant to what follows.
