I found myself liking the performances of the two lead actors in this new dark comedy, even though their portrayals felt somewhat at odds with each other—they seemed to be trying to outdo one another and claim the spotlight with their distinct characters. There were moments I genuinely enjoyed, but ultimately I’m let down because what could have been a compelling subject matter was squandered through weak storytelling. The film feels reminiscent of 'Serial Mom.' It centers on an unusual yet cheerful family living by their own rules, whose idyllic existence is disrupted when confronted with the harsh realities of life—leading them to confront danger in order to protect it. They’ve started something, but now the question becomes how they'll resolve everything completely. Despite a middling rating on IMDb, critics and audiences alike have largely panned the movie. I’ve certainly seen films that were worse. To me, it’s just average, with the exception of a truly awful ending—otherwise, it falls short of even that mark. The finale was so bad, it seems like they didn't intend to make any sequels. It felt as though they wanted to wrap things up definitively here. It's something you could watch, but it’s far from being exceptional. 6/10
