It’s good that _Hollow Man II_ chose to go in another direction, because I believe a change was needed. However, the most significant distinction between the first and second films is that this one feels dull. I don't expect it to recapture the initial movie's captivating qualities, but I do wish it had some spark of interest—something more than just “a man becomes invisible, acts badly, and a central character struggles against him.” _Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible._
