This final installment derived from the *'On the Buses'* television program is, in my view, its least successful offering. *Holiday on the Buses* isn’t dramatically different from the previous two movies, but it just didn’t grab me; it felt rather lackluster overall. I wasn’t exactly bored watching it, but I also didn’t find it particularly amusing. It's simply unremarkable. My preference is for the bus-related antics that are central to the series, and those elements feel somewhat diminished here—and even when they *are* on a bus, it’s a sightseeing excursion. The sexist attitudes remain, which isn’t unexpected. Reg Varney, Bob Grant, and Stephen Lewis are still pleasant to watch, particularly Lewis. Like the earlier films, none of the secondary actors make a strong impression. There are a few laughs to be had, but more subdued or disappointing ones, truthfully. Many of the gags seemed recycled from the 1971 and 1972 movies. It’s no great shock that they stopped making these after this one.
