It wasn’t enjoyable, I don’t plan on rewatching it, and I can’t suggest it to anyone. Occasionally revisiting older films labeled as "classics" can be entertaining, but they frequently don’t age well. In some instances, like this one, it's hard to understand how they were ever considered successful in the first place. It's particularly strange given that it is a 1993 Disney film dealing with sexuality and witchcraft traditions rooted in portraying women as sexual—a subject so taboo it would have resulted in persecution. I’m getting off track. Although the Sanderson sisters present an intriguing concept, even if poorly executed, and could be interpreted as a representation of ambition, craving, and desire, the movie veers into almost absurd territory without much justification. The actors who aren't witches perform adequately; Thora Birch’s performance stood out to me, and it's easy to see why her career took off. I am certain that the actresses portraying the witches delivered their lines as written effectively, but the script is excessively silly—even when attempting to unwind, some jokes fall flat and simply aren't humorous. Ultimately, it boils down to being a Halloween-themed version of something like *The Babysitter’s Club*, or any other group adventure geared toward children.
