This movie was truly terrible. I hadn't seen a film in over a month, and picking *'High Heat'* to help me get back into watching movies proved to be a regrettable choice. Nearly everything about it is just awful; the only thing preventing it from receiving an even lower score is its length—if it were 20 minutes longer, I would have rated it a 1/10 without hesitation. Olga Kurylenko is the only remotely acceptable aspect of this 2022 film; she delivers a decent performance considering the material and doesn't do anything wrong. The same could be said for Don Johnson. Everyone else is below average, if not worse. Even more irritating are the characters Mimi, Tom, Becky, and Kaitlyn—they’re among the most tedious and uninteresting I’ve encountered, prompting frequent eye rolls whenever they appeared, especially during one excessively long car sequence. However, it wouldn't be fair to solely criticize the actors, as they seem to be simply fulfilling their instructions. Zach Golden & Co. did just as poor a job. The dialogue is dreadful, and so is the humor, editing, pacing, and likely every other element imaginable. It’s a genuinely disappointing effort overall.
