My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (86/100) It’s a touching portrayal of a single father, consistently sincere and pleasant to watch. Director Shouryuv's first film is impressive; he crafted a story that feels carefully considered. A highlight is the film’s beautiful music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, which significantly deepened the emotional impact. The script itself works well, though some scenes felt awkwardly inserted, like the Shruti Hasan song seemed out of place. However, Nani delivers a captivating and magnetic performance, and the genuine emotions make it hard to find fault with the film. It’s wonderful to see Nani choosing such diverse roles, which deserves recognition. He is excellent whether portraying excitement in love or dealing realistically with his circumstances; he stands out in every scene. Kiara Khanna as the child character is also incredibly cute and innocent, a major strength of the movie. Mrunal performed admirably, especially considering she doesn't speak the language, and her lip-syncing with the Telugu actor felt very convincing. Priyadarshi and Jayaram both gave strong supporting performances. Hi Nanna isn’t perfect or without imperfections, but it successfully aims to provide a complete emotional story that is enjoyable for viewers who appreciate family dramas with romantic elements. I found it quite satisfying.
