I have rarely encountered a film as distinctive as *Here*, and I’m struggling to think of another movie that approaches it in its style. The decision to tell this story primarily from a single camera perspective was certainly bold, but Robert Zemeckis and his team executed it exceptionally well. It's something I genuinely enjoyed. I anticipated there might be some dull stretches, and worried the limited viewpoint could become tiresome, but thankfully neither of those things happened. There’s enough happening to maintain interest throughout, and that unusual perspective keeps everything feeling new. The performances from the actors certainly contribute as well. Tom Hanks delivers a reliably strong performance, and Robin Wright is also quite good. However, Paul Bettany was the one who truly impressed me; he's superb in every scene. His character is central to the more serious aspects of the story, particularly his interactions with Kelly Reilly’s Rose. I watched this movie at a cinema alongside Pablo Larraín's *Maria*, which was an unplanned pairing based on scheduling convenience. Still, it ended up being a wonderful few hours spent watching films on a large screen. It was some truly excellent viewing.
