This film turned out to be disappointing because the preview made it seem much more exciting than it actually is. I was anticipating a thrilling revenge story featuring a strong female operative, but the movie doesn’t quite live up to that expectation. The pacing feels sluggish initially. While Mallory does have moments of action, too much time is devoted to flashbacks, and these are often drawn out. The storyline itself follows a familiar formula—an agent betrayed who then seeks retribution—which isn't inherently problematic; it could easily provide the basis for some good action sequences. However, the execution falls short. The performances aren’t particularly memorable. It seems like the actors were simply reciting their lines to move things along, and as a result, I didn’t feel any connection to either the protagonist or the antagonists. Most of my time watching was spent anticipating the next action sequence. The film includes several recognizable performers, but they aren't given opportunities to truly shine or deliver noteworthy performances. Ultimately, it's an unremarkable and occasionally tedious movie.
