The film earns a score of 34 out of 100. A family takes up residence in a house with a dark history—the site of another family's violent deaths. In an attempt to liven things up, they introduce a radio designed to communicate with spirits, though it proved pointless. Even the developing connection between the oldest son and his neighbor couldn’t prevent this slow-moving and irritating narrative from feeling obligated to insert occasional scary elements simply as a reminder that it's supposed to be horror.
