This picture, scoring 41 out of 100, follows an individual struggling with alcohol who is traveling toward Mexico and makes an unplanned stop in a small town near the border, where he becomes targeted in a pursuit. Describing it proves difficult because the film lacks any real spark; it fails to generate excitement or suspense, and there's no humor present, nor memorable lines of dialogue. The movie itself feels lifeless, as do its characters. It isn’t offensively bad, but there's simply nothing remarkable about it deserving attention. To add insult to injury, the conclusion proved disappointing. I am baffled that Rotten Tomatoes gave it a perfect score; it felt like they viewed something entirely different than what I did.
